StarFX Pro addresses the unique needs of today's personal video communications.
It instantly enhances and transforms traditional "talking head" video into fun,
compelling communication for use in desktop video, streaming video e-mail, webcasts,
video chat, videoconferencing, and more! StarFX Pro works with your
current software: CU-SeeMe, NetMeeting, Create & Share,
iSpQ VideoChat and other applications.
StarFX Pro offers all the amazing effects of StarFX with even more features including
Viewics' patented background replacement technology, a "virtual bluescreen"
technique that lets you instantly - in real time - create a whole new, virtual
environment. Someone in a basement or home office can appear to be in an impressive
corporate setting or a tropical beach!
StarFX Pro also gives you the power to mix any collection of graphics, photos,
recorded video, animation, or even PowerPoint files with the live images from your
PC video camera to create instant special effects. These images can be "drag and
dropped" onto StarFX Pro.
Another StarFX Pro feature allows information to be added to the foreground. For
example, the message "Live from New York" might be added. Or you can add animated
cartoons, thought balloons, an over-the-shoulder news box, presentation graphics
or video.
All the cool effects in StarFX Pro occur instantly - in real time - without complicated
postproduction or time-consuming editing.
StarFX Pro now comes with the Cool StarFX Pro Content file! This brand new collection
of StarFX scenes and effects includes a variety of backgrounds for you to explore from
mountains to bubble baths. It also includes the Presidential Seal and the favorite,
Yellow Submarine.
Important: StarFX Pro is recommended for experienced video enthusiasts
or video production professionals. For best results, background replacement requires: a stable background
and camera set-up, adequate and stable lighting, a camera adjusted for the best focus and
color, and the camera's controls set to manual (focus, exposure, white balance, etc.) instead
of automatic. (There are other production tips in the Readme files.)
