StarFX Greetings: How to Create and Send

Step One: Recording your Greeting

To record your card, first you must start the StarFX Greeting you have downloaded to create and send. Select the card of your choice from either the Start Menu, or the StarFX Greetings folder on your desktop. After StarFX Greetings opens, you will see this screen:

Click on the Next button to be taken to the Record screen.

Once the StarFX Greetings application connects to your camera (you will see yourself in the video window!), you can click the Record button at any time to begin recording your StarFX Greeting. When you are satisfied with your video message, you can press the Next button to proceed.

Step Two: Addressing your Greeting

On the email information screen, you will enter your email address, your name, the email address of the person you are sending your card to, a subject for your message, and your text message. Your text greeting will appear on the card next to your video window. When you've completed all the fields, click the Next button to proceed.

Step Three: Previewing and Sending your Greeting

This screen gives you the opportunity to Preview your card (with text message added) or to Send your card now without previewing. If you choose to Preview your card, you will see a screen with your entire StarFX Greeting on it and be able to see your video message once again before you proceed to Send or go Back to make a change. You can press the Send button at any time during the Preview of your card.

When you choose to Send your card, you will see the first of two dialog boxes, both designed to let you what is happening during the Send process, first the Encoding and then the Sending of your card.

Congratulations! You have successfully created and sent your StarFX Greeting Card.
