Easy Installation

Step One: Select a Card

When you've selected the StarFX Greeting on our web site you want to create and send, click the "Download now to Create and Send" link.

Step Two: Select Download Options

You will see a dialog box for the installation and may be given an option:

• You may have the option to run the file from its current location or to "Save As." If you do have this option, choose to run from its current location. The installation for StarFX Greetings will begin. (Note to Internet Explorer users: This may bring up a dialog box saying "Authenticode signature not found." If so, click on yes to allow the installation program to proceed.)
• Netscape users will only be able to "Save As." In this case, Save the file and double click on it to begin the installation. The installation for StarFX Greetings will begin.

Step Three: Follow Installation Prompts

When prompted, click Next to proceed to the license agreement. After reviewing the agreement, click Next to proceed. StarFX Greetings will now download the rest of the files for the application from our website.

Very Important Note: If this is your first StarFX Greeting, the download could take several minutes. This is because you are downloading the "card maker" portion of the application as well as the graphics for the specific card you selected. As a result, you will see two installation dialogs running on your task bar during the installation process. This is normal. Do not cancel either one or your install will not be successful. The next time you download a StarFX Greeting, you will only have to download the graphics for the specific card you select, which will decrease your download time.

Click Finish to exit the installation program. You are now ready to create and send a StarFX Greeting!

Step Four: Go!

To start the application, Click on the StarFX Greetings folder on your desktop or find the StarFX Greetings folder under Programs. When you open the folder, you will see your available StarFX Greetings. Select one StarFX Greeting and open it. The first screen of the application will appear and you can follow the easy instructions to Create and Send your StarFX Greeting. For additional help, see StarFX Greetings: How to Create and Send.
